What size gaming mat do I need for Warhammer 40,000?
For standard 2,000-point matched play in Warhammer 40,000, most players use a 44" x 60" mat. For Combat Patrol, a 44" x 30" mat is the usual choice. The same sizes work for Age of Sigmar matched play and Spearhead. Battlefield sizes can change with new editions and mission packs, so check the current rules or your event pack before you buy.
What size mat do I need for Kill Team?
A 30" x 22" mat fits the standard Kill Team killzone. The same size works for Warcry.
What are FLG Mats made of?
FLG Mats are premium neoprene: a durable, cushioned, mousepad-style material with a smooth playing surface. Each mat has a high-resolution, full-color print made in-house by Frontline Gaming.
Do FLG Mats come with a carrying bag?
Yes. Mats include a zippered nylon carrying bag and a full-color aluminum ID tag. The 24" x 14" and 35" x 16" sizes do not include the bag and tag.

How long does it take to get my mat, and how much is shipping?
FLG Mats are made to order, so please allow an additional 3 business days for processing; this can be longer during holidays and big sales. Shipping in the continental US is a flat $7.99, and free on orders of $100 or more. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and US territories ship free over $200. We also ship FLG Mats internationally at a flat rate (customs fees and taxes are paid by the buyer).
Can I use one mat for several different games?
Yes. Many FLG Mat sizes work for several games. A 44" x 60" mat covers Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar matched play, and a 3' x 3' mat covers both Marvel: Crisis Protocol and Star Wars: Shatterpoint.
How do I get creases out of my mat and keep it clean?
A new mat can take up to 4 weeks to fully relax after delivery. To remove shipping creases, cover the mat with a thin towel, warm it with steam from an iron (never put the iron directly on the mat), then roll it tightly, image side out, for a day or two. Clean it with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, let it air dry, and store it rolled image side out. See the FLG Mat care guide for full instructions.
