A Beginner Friendly Warhammer 40K Experience Like No Other

Ever wanted to play in a Warhammer 40,000 tournament but felt overwhelmed, underprepared, or unsure what to expect? This is your on-ramp.

My First Tabletop Tournament: Warhammer 40K Edition is a structured, welcoming event built exclusively for players who have never attended a two-day Grand Tournament. It's run by Vanguard Tactics and held during Las Vegas Open 2026; giving first-timers a genuine, supported taste of the two-day GT format in a room built around coaching, community, and confidence.

To be clear: this is not a narrative or friendly-only event. It's a real, scored tournament, just one designed from the ground up so a first-timer isn't thrown in at the deep end.

Thursday: Registration & Vendor Hall Opens
Dates: Friday, October 2nd (1 round) – Saturday, October 3rd (2 rounds)
Format: 3 Rounds across 2 days - GW Tournament format, Matched Play, 2000 pts.
