The Lone Star Open returns bigger than ever, bringing together competitive players, passionate hobbyists, and an incredible community for a truly Texas sized tabletop weekend. Big games. Big community. Big Texas energy.

Hosted at the fan favorite Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel and Convention Center, attendees can enjoy a comfortable venue along with a discounted FLG room block and a special discounted rate for active duty military personnel.

General Format:
Welcome to the first ever StarCraft: The Miniatures Game event at the Lone Star Open! Be part of tabletop gaming history as this exciting new system makes its debut on the FLG event stage.
- 5 total rounds across the weekend
- 3 rounds Saturday
- 2 rounds Sunday
- 2000 point format
- 2.5 hour rounds
- Attendance cap of 32 players
NOTE: Due to the game’s release timing and limited model availability at launch, the following accommodations will be permitted for this event:
- No painting requirements will be enforced
- Players may use clearly labeled base proxies for units outside of the currently available starter set
Our goal is to support early community growth while still providing a fun, accessible, and organized competitive experience for everyone involved.
StarCraft: The Miniatures Game is played on a 36"x54" battlefield, a format widely requested and supported by the growing community. Players can also look forward to community supported terrain and tables throughout the weekend.
In addition, an event-exclusive StarCraft TMG themed neoprene FLG mat available for purchase at the event, giving players an exciting new battlefield option designed specifically for the game system!
