The Army Painter Presents: From Battle Ready to Tabletop Plus: Elevate Your Miniatures

Take your miniatures to the next level! This class is designed for painters who have mastered the basics of getting their armies "Battle Ready" and are looking to elevate their skills to a refined "Tabletop Plus" standard. A "Battle Ready" army looks great on the table, but "Tabletop Plus" miniatures stand out with techniques that make them pop.
We will move beyond basic basecoats and washes and dive into the techniques that will bring your miniatures to life. Learn how to give your models a more realistic and defined look by adding depth and volume. This course will focus on two key areas:
  • Shading and Highlighting: Discover how to create the illusion of light and shadow on your miniatures. This is a crucial step to making your models look more three-dimensional and less like flat plastic toys. We'll explore how to apply shades to create depth in the recesses and how to layer highlights to create volume on raised surfaces.
  • Edge Highlighting: Learn the art of using fine, crisp lines to define the edges of your model's armor, weapons, and clothing. This technique is essential for creating sharp details that will make your miniatures stand out on the battlefield.
By the end of this class, you will have the skills and confidence to take any "Battle Ready" miniature and transform it into a "Tabletop Plus" masterpiece that you can be proud of.

All physical items such as those that are pre-ordered or are included with a ticket, must be picked up during the event by no later than 9AM on Sunday June 14, 2026. Items will not be shipped. Items not claimed by 9AM on Sunday will be resold and the original purchase will not be refunded.
